INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

 

 

 

With over 30 years of experience Woodlinkin know a thing or two about what makes a good driving instructor.

 

Here at Woodlinkin to can offer you training courses to help you gain your qualifications to become a 1st class driving instructor, just like the instructors we have here. You will be guided through every stage on a one to one basis with our trainer. Our syllabus follows the recommended route set out by the Driving Standards Agency.

 

Before you can embark on a career as a driving instructor the Driving Standards Agency require you to meet certain requirements.

 

Have held a driving full driving licence for a total of at least 3.5 years out of the past six. Not been disqualified from driving in the last 4 years.

 

Approvel a criminal records check and be a fit and proper person.

 

Be able to read the required eyesight/number plate test 

 

The course briefly consists of

 

1.  Theory and hazard perception training and tests for part 1

 

2.  Driving and driving test for part 2

 

3.  40 hour intensive training and examination for part 3

 

ADI examination fees and entry onto the register are payable as well.

 

We also offer part training for potential instructors on all three parts of the examination.
